Today we learned about the colour wheel and what the 3 Primary colours are: red🔴 yellow🟡 blue🔵
We then played a game of find the colour. Finally, we used the primary colour powder paints to colour the inside of our colour wheel. Beautiful Work 1M! #LovePlover
Today we have been exploring what happens when you mix two colours together. We used the primary colours to paint our hands and then rubbed our hands together, to see what colour they create together.
This week we have used different materials to create portraits of ourselves. We thought carefully about what hair colour we needed and what other features we needed to include.
Crew Meade kindly made a birthday card for Miss Holridge’s young cousin Mason, who is such a brave superhero in his own right at Bluebell Hospice! #LovePlover
During hook week the children loved creating a CD cover design using oil pastels. They did a beautiful job blending the colours and carefully drawing a polar bear to complete the design.
4BW have done a amazing job completing their final product. They have done multiple drafts and the detail included in their final one is unbelievable. I am so proud of their beautiful work. Ā Well done!
Check out all of the stunning crafts and designs all our KS1 children have created during hook week – it really has been a fantastic and immersive week!
All the children have been buzzing with the crafts, activities (beach hut, lighthouse, cliffs, sand and sea collage, fish & chip shop and menus, donuts and waffles stand, boat, whale, fish, seaguls) and have lots of wonders about our new expedition ‘Would you staycation in Doncaster?’
We will be exploring Doncaster and comparing it to the seaside as part of our locality study!
Massive congratulations and thank you to everybody – Go crew!
