UKS2 family learning Thursday 9th November at 1:30pm.

Just a reminder of our UKS2 family learning event. We hope to see you there! We will be collaborating to design and sew a range of rainforest cuddly toys to donate to our local children’s hospice for Christmas. It would mean so much to see as many parents as possible join our event. We will also be holding a ‘guess the teddy’s name’ event to raise funds for our leavers hoodies.

Time to Read Tuesday

We’ve had a lovely morning sharing books and reading with our friends during Time to Read Tuesday Crew. The children were so enthusiastic reading with one another and this was so lovely to hear! #LovePlover

Awesome home learning!

I feel so privileged that children in 5/6 want to come and show me their awesome home learning! Just look at Jude’s awesome effort! He has worked so hard to make a beautiful plant arrangement! 10 crew coins Jude!

Year 6 PE

A new half term meant new PE skills to learn. Moving on from hockey from last half term, year 6 had started their first PE lesson with team building activities and games. They are now moving onto OAA (Outdoor and Adventurous Activities) and they have already started off brilliantly with teamwork and communication to help each other. They worked in groups to solve problems and work together to complete the challenges set for them. It was a hilarious but enjoyable session as all children walked away with smiles on their faces with the teamwork and CREW they displayed today.

Super proud of year 6, well done!

Smashing arithmetic in 6SB!

6SB are determined to achieve 40/40 on their arithmetic papers. They are loving moving their names on our interactive display! Our pledge is to ensure EVERYONE gets into the blue circle which is 30+ marks by February half term! Ask your children every Thursday what score they have achieved in their weekly test!

6R are scientists

6R have been learning practically this week by doing science experiments.

Cutting up flowers and examining the parts of the reproductive system and reproducing our own cuttings.

Year 6 have smashed long division!

A shout out to the children who joined the pre teach session before school this morning! Year 6 smashed long division today. Super proud of each and everyone of them. We have added some extended study questions onto Google classroom for you all to engage with this weekend!

Well done everyone!
