6B had an amazing street dance lesson with Cait.
The children certainly enjoyed their street dance lesson with Cait this afternoon as part of World mental health day. They all showed courage and were certainly challenged with the routine but they had so much fun!

Taking time for ourselves to do something fun on World mental health day
Dark nights
A big thank you to the representatives of Doncaster Council and South Yorkshire Police who spoke with the Year 5 and 6 children yesterday about the importance of staying safe as winter approaches.
Children were made aware of the possible risks of following irresponsible behaviour at this time of year. They also discussed what they can do to ensure their selves, friends and family remain safe – particularly over the Halloween and Bonfire periods.

Creating beautiful anchor charts to support our knowledge of tricky spelling rules
My lovely Year 6 crew have been struggling with the spelling rule doubling the consonant when adding a suffix’ so today, they have been creating anchor charts to display in the classroom to remind them when they are spelling.

We have raised enough for our Disney ears! Thank you all so much!
We have managed to raise enough for every child who is going on the Disneyland trip a pair of Minnie/Mickey ears. A huge thank you to all those who have bought tickets. Here are two of the winners and our lovely Minnie (5L) was the winner of the first prize but unfortunately, I did not get a photo of her.
We really appreciate the support of our parents and carers to add a special touch to a very exciting school trip for our pupils- thank you again!
