Today in Crew Schofield, we welcomed Crew Carter who shared some of their favourite books and stories with us. It was lovely to have visitors and we look forward to sharing some time reading with you again soon!
This afternoon, we worked in groups to find out facts about the eight planets. Each group researched a planet, then shared their facts with the class. We used this to create a fact file of facts about all the planets in the solar system. Great team work!
Well done to Crew Lotysz for being this weeks attendance winners with 97%. Keep up the hard work guys! Don’t forget to put your 100 Crew Coins on!

Well done to our well-deserved pride of plover winners this week! We are all proud of the hard work you’re putting into working hard, getting smart and being kind.

Well done to Esmae, Sumit, Shayen, Modish, Taylor and Rehand who are our top contributors to TTR this week!
Don’t forget there is a tournament running every week, 10 minutes playing TTR after school will really help improve times table knowledge.

Yesterday, Year 5 & 6 pupils had an expert in school yesterday to build on the work they had engaged in with the space dome earlier that day. They talked in great detail about consolations and how we will be able to look out for these on our upcoming stargazing event.
How exciting!

We were lucky to receive a visit from Chris, a physics and space expert, to hear about the origins of our universe. We then spent some time asking questions that provoked a lot of excitement for our upcoming expedition.
We were surprised to find that the formation of life from bacteria to humans are all relatively much more recent events than the big bang and creation of our sun (billions of years, in fact)!
Well done to all children in years 5 and 6 for your attention and curiosity during this visit.
