We are being active

Well done to everyone in 3H who achieved their WOW badge this month for getting to school in a healthy, active way. Keep it up! The health benefits alone are worth it, never mind the benefits it’ll have on a healthier planet with reduced car emissions! Great work folks.

It is great that 17/24 children have received this month’s badge – 2 were absent for the photograph, my counting skills are not quite as bad as Icerink’s.

We couldn’t guess his name so look at the chaos he caused!

3H have been trying to guess the name of their class elf for the last few weeks. They were convinced it was Haycock Junior as he tormented them as much as I do but unfortunately they failed in their guess, so he caused pure destruction on the final day of term. He did find a moment of niceness though when he stuffed our fake grenades with yummy chocolate…thank you Icerink and well done to Sienna for working out where he had hidden the chocolate from the clues he left us!

We hope to see Icerink and his army of elves, who kept multiplying during the final day, next year. We wonder if he could go back to elf school though because his spelling is absolutely atrocious and we would love to know how one elf became two, then three and finally four…our minds were blown and the excitement kept building!

Have a wonderful break everyone, you deserve it! Keep safe, be happy and have fun! I look forward to seeing you all safe and sound in 2025!

Party fun in Y3

Year 3 had a great time celebrating the end of a long and difficult term. Everyone has worked so hard and every pupil needs to feel pride for the achievements they have fulfilled. We hope you all have a wonderful two weeks rest and for those who celebrate it, we wish you all a wonderful Christmas too!

Merry Christmas 3B!

We have had a lovely last week of school in 2024. It was filled with lots of fun Christmas activities including: making Christmas cards, tree decorations and calendars as well as a fun Christmas party and a quick visit from Santa. Wishing everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. See you in 2025!

LKS2 Dress Up as a Robot Day & Family Learning

We invite children in Year and 4 to come to school dressed as a robot on Monday 6th January to launch our spring expedition.

Please don’t go to any expense – homemade is great.

As part of the day, we will be watching the film Robots which is PG rated. Please inform your child’s class teacher if you do not consent to your child watching this film.

We will be needing cardboard boxes and tin cans to help with our activities in the first week and would be grateful if you could send them into school at the start of the week.

On Friday 10th January, we will be having our ‘Create-a-Robot’ Family Learning event and would love it if you could join us in school at 2pm.

Please see our home-learning task sheet attached.

We look forward to seeing you in the New Year

LKS2 Christmas Celebration

Thank you to everyone who joined us this afternoon at Harvest Fields Church in Intake for our Christmas Celebration.

A big thank you to Pastor Andrew Golba and the congregation of the church who supported us in the preparation and delivery of the celebration – it was lovely to celebrate in the community.

Well done to all the children who took the time to learn their lines, practised moving in style or sang beautifully – you made us all very proud.

Have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year.

Bring a plastic bag!

Please make sure your child brings a plastic bag to school on Thursday, so that they can take everything from their drawer home.

Thank you.

Yellow crew disco!

Yesterday, yellow crews enjoyed a belated reward for their efforts during the summer term (you may recall we postponed it due to bad weather), in the form of a disco! The children had a great time and should be proud of how hard they worked at their HoWLs during the summer term to earn this reward.

It was also lovely to note that all three crews received an award for coming top of crew coins for the terms of last year. ☺️

Pride of Plover

Well done to all of our Pride of Plovers! Big shout out to Crew Farrow for winning a spin on the wheel. You win 5 minutes extra play time.
