Dinosaur Hunters 🦕 🦖

Y2 noticed dinosaur footprints on the playground, then found different dinosaurs and sorted them into carnivores, herbivores, omnivores! Next they did some dinosaur footprints of their own and finally they drew a dinosaur! #LovePlover

Christmas Quiz

This morning we talked about how Christmas is celebrated in different countries and how similar or different their traditions are compared to ours.
We completed a Kahoot Quiz, which everyone really enjoyed being part of.

Letters to Santa 🎅🏼

This week we have been looking at the book ā€œThe Jolly Christmas Postmanā€ to get us into the festive spirit. On Thursday we looked at writing a Christmas list in preparation for writing our letter to Santa. On Friday we wrote our letters to Santa ready for the Jolly Postman to collect. ✉️ ✨

Money 💷

This week 1/2K have been recognising coins and notes. We have ordered them from the lowest to the highest values, discussed the materials they are made out of and used an online piggy bank to help us recognise the different coins.

3pm Toy Sale

We still have some toys left from our Christmas Fayre that we are kindly just asking for a small donation for. The money raised will go towards reading for pleasure books for your children and some books for Doncaster childrenā€™s hospital. The toys will be available on EYFS playground at home time, from 3pm.
Thank you for all the money raised so far!

KS1 Christmas Show Tickets

We are pleased to announce the release of the KS1 Christmas show tickets.

Due to capacity restrictions, tickets will be limited to two tickets per child. Parents and guardians will be able to choose either the morning or afternoon performance on a first come, first served basis.

Seating at the performances will be strictly limited to approximately 110, so it may not be possible to accommodate performance choices.

Parents and guardians will be able to collect their tickets from the KS1 playground on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th December. Tickets will be available on the playground before and after school.
