I was so excited that these lovely KS1 pupils wanted to show me their fabulous work they had been engaging in during their faith day. Look how beautiful it is! Superstars! ⭐️

Well done to our Y1/2 children who took part in their first ever football tournament. They finished 5th – winning 2 games, drawing 2 games and losing 3 games. Plovers superstar player was Y1 Vinnie – for his 2 goals! #LovePlover
Congratulations to the Key Stage 1 Pride of Plover winners this week. It was brilliant to hear how you demonstrated such determination and focus in your learning, always working hard and getting smart. Even better still was hearing how kind you all are and how well you use your manners. Well done everyone!

It was so lovely this morning. We had a F2 Crew Competition. The challenge was to fill our own bucket of water, using a small container to transfer the water from the the water tray. We encouraged our crew members to speed up, slow down and keep going. It was so close! For a final challenge, we had to carry our full container all the way back to the water tray, using helpful hands and working together. Mr Meade’s crew were awesome at this! We were all so impressed by how the children supported each other! #love plover
Congratulations to the first Pride of Plover winners in KS1 this year. You have shown us that you work hard, get smart and be kind! Thank you also to the grown-ups who were able to join us for this morning’s celebration.

We have been busy baking bears this afternoon, in F2. We all mixed to make the dough. Some of us rolled, cut and baked and some of us will do this tomorrow morning. We will all decorate our bear biscuit tomorrow. If you have sent your money in, your child will be binging home their biscuit to share 🙂 Remember all proceeds are going towards buying bears for the local children’s home.
This week 1CR have been thinking about the types of materials that would be suitable to use when building a castle.
We tested the materials in our outside environment to check for it’s strength, waterproof properties and ability to withstand the weather.
Once we had decided on the best material, we tested out some of the different construction methods and then tried to knock them down.
On Friday, 1CR were learning about the origins of Islam and about some of the key beliefs Muslim’s hold.
