Today we painted portraits of ourselves for our crew display. We are focusing on “Getting to know you” whereby the children are getting to know each other and we are getting to know the children more during our settling in week.

Patsy-Ann noticed that some areas of learning hadn’t been tidied up properly today. Without being asked she tidied it up. Well done Patsy-Ann as this was a good example to all your crew.

There will be a Read Write Inc information session on Wednesday at 2.30. I will be showing you the parents information and how we teach phonics in school. All parents/carers are welcome but particularly parents and carers of F2 and KS1 children. If you would like to attend and haven’t let me know already please can you email me at [email protected].

Another really lovely day for our children in F2 today. We were so happy to see so many children playing and learning together. It was a huge success with dinners today. Many empty plates and full tummies 🙂 Have a great weekend together and we look forward to seeing you on Monday for our first full day together as a whole crew!
Ayrton was really kind today and helped one of our new children. He noticed that they were upset and took them to play in different areas. He was so thoughtful in what he said and did. Well done Ayrton.
