Today we have been looking at different woodland animals and their features. We have drawn our favourites, tomorrow we will critique them and see how we can make our pictures even more fantastic!
We had a fantastic morning in PE yesterday. Thank you to our coaches for helping us to improve our balancing skills.
Yesterday we had a fantastic walk into the sunshine to the woods. We found lots of signs of Autumn.
We found the pulse and learned the words. We had lots of fun learning music together.
Crew SB shared a story with the gorgeous children in EYFS as part of our ‘time to ready Tuesday’ crew sessions. They loved reading for pleasure and taking the time to share a book with the little ones. They enjoyed it so much they have asked if we can partner up to do this every month. Reading it so important, especially out loud!

These children have all got postcards for awesome phonics work today. Mrs Bubb has been so happy teaching phonics and seeing them get smarter every day!
Today, we went to the woods. We found some leaves, conkers and conker husks. It felt warm like summer and we could not find any red leaves. We talked about why the leaves change colour and maybe they will change colour as it gets colder. We have set the children a challenge to find some pine cones, acorns and red leaves over the half term holiday. Here are some pictures of us searching for signs of Autumn and playing tiggy scarecrow.
