Well done to Reggie and Bria for getting the yellow t-shirts today. They have both been working really hard, are kind and helpful and are a pleasure to have in class.
You are both superstars.

We did tummy time drawing today to match sounds from the story to musical instruments and to shapes we could make. This is what we did.

This week, we have read the book, drawn a story map, added captions, built the settings, retold the story and even used instruments to tell the story! We hope you enjoy our class retelling! Most of us loved it!
The classrooms were visited by Christmas elves last night. The children have had a great morning learning and exploring some Christmassy provision.
Over the past two days we have been creating artwork to link to Autumn. The children described textures and colours and how the artwork made them feel.

In maths today the children learnt that parts make a whole. They enjoyed using part whole grids and Mr Potato Head.

F2 have made kindness badges as part of our whole school dedication to kindness. Today, we nominated members of our crew to wear their kindness badges. It was a great learning opportunity to really talk about what kindness looks like and how we can do it, even if we’re not quite there yet. We are looking forward to seeing the whole class wearing kindness badges on their uniform next week. In the book, we read earlier this week, it took some of the children a bit longer but we are Crew and we are all here to help you be the best version of yourself. You can Crew it: You can do it!
We also raised money for Children in Need today by coming to school in pur pyjamas. Plover children really are kind!
Over the last two weeks the children have been learning about hedgehogs. They have made hedgehogs in different ways. They have learnt facts about them and have been writing about them. We had a fantastic literacy lesson this morning. The children’s writing was amazing. They could all say what they wanted to write.
Well done F2PR

As part of our learning in crew to be kind, we were learning to trust our friends. The children guided each other around the room with one person having their eyes closed. They talked about how they had to trust each other and how they felt safe.
