Happy Easter
The children enjoyed their egg hunt today following on from the story We’re going on an Easter egg hunt. Easter Bunny had hidden the numbers really well and we had to try really hard to find them!

Faith Day F2P
Today we explored the festival of Hannukah. The children watched clips of the festival and learnt new words such as Menorah, Dreidel and Judaism. The children made Menorahs and practiced Hebrew writing. They were able to compare the candles to other festivals we have learnt about with lights.

Spring time
Today F2 learnt about the life cycle of a chicken. They activated their learning by watching a clip about chicks and what happens to them. They constructed their learning working in pairs to sequence the life cycle and then demonstrated what they knew using the words then and next.

Spring clean
F2 have been talking about Spring and getting things ready for a new start. The new sand arrived for the sand pit today. The children helped to move the sand and they started a Spring clean of the outdoor area. There was a lot of team work and helping each other to move equipment.

Celebration Of Learning
As part of our final product, our children did lots of fundraising to raise money for reading for pleasure books. At our celebration of learning, our children presented books boxes to Doncaster Childrenās Ward, CAST theatre, Kiddiewinks, Sandringham Road Doctors Practice and Intake Wellbeing Centre. The children also received a book each and a gingerbread man, they baked and decorated themselves. We sang some songs for our parents/visitors and shared our learning journey.
