All of us at Plover Primary would like to say a massive congratulations to the following pupils; Paisley C, Riley C, Samuel S, Jarvis L-B, Helen-Rose B, Darcy T and Ellis C, who all attended the Children’s University graduation earlier this week at the University Centre Doncaster.
The children have taken part in a range of after school clubs and activities this year, to claim ‘hours’ to work towards a range of Children’s University awards. Activities included; swimming, gymnastics, dancing, football, Brownies / Rainbows / Scouts, martial arts, visiting the library / the Wildlife Park / museum, and learning new skills i.e. riding a bike / baking.
The children have so far ‘claimed’ the following hours; Paisley C = 719 hours, Riley C = 382 hours, Samuel S = 506 hours, Jarvis L-B = 382 hours, Helen-Rose B = 401 hours, Darcy T = 642 hours, and Ellis C = 825 hours!
Children and their families enjoyed an evening at the University Centre Doncaster with a free ice cream, cap and gown ceremony where they were awarded with a graduation certificate, and a goodie bag to take home.
We are incredibly proud of all children who have taken part in Children’s University this year!
