Great perseverance

Lacey showed great perseverance this morning in cutting out her bear. Although she found it difficult at times, Lacey-Mae did not give up and achieved her goal.

Mathematicians

The children worked very hard this afternoon matching objects in five frames and saying which had the most. Green children extended their learning by finding the matching numicon/numeral and finding out one more.

Class Bear

Dolunay was the first child to take home our crew bear, Coffee Bean, home today. Dolly was chosen as she has worked really hard in her maths work today and shown great kindness and compassion to her peers. Well done Dolly, keep it. I cannot wait to hear about your adventures with Coffee Bean tomorrow.

Crew Bear

Yesterday we watched a video on how teddy bears are made, to enable us to make our own teddy bear today as a crew. The children helped to put the stuffing and the hearts inside the bear and decided that our crew bear is going to be called Coffee Bean. All children over the coming weeks will get to take the crew bear home for the night, to have exciting adventures with, that we will then share within crew the next day. I cannot wait to see the adventures that Coffee Bean gets up too.
