Today we explored pumpkins. We used our senses to talk about how they look, feel and smell, as well as doing some printing with them.

Austerfield follow up

Today we had a discussion about our school trip to Austerfield. We discussed what we had learnt and our favourite parts of the day. Some of the children also did some beautiful drawings of things relating to the trip.

We have had a fabulous day at Austerfield today! Thankyou to all the adults that supported us and helped make it such a special day.

We enjoyed learning about the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears as well as going on our very own Bear Hunt!

We are scientists

Today we have been scientists and explored the change in state of porridge. We then tasted porridge made with milk, water, milk & sugar and milk & salt, as well as dried porridge oats. On the whole, porridge made with milk and sugar was our favourite!

Austerfield Visit

Austerfield visit on Wednesday
Children do not need to wear uniform but will need to wear wellies and waterproofs. We will be sending them home on Tuesday for children to come to school in them on Wednesday.
We will be leaving school as close to 9 am as possible so please be at school by 8.45 so that we can toilet and get orange bibs on.
