Innovating The Story

After looking at the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, we the began to map out our own versions of the story. We thought of a name for our Caterpillars and decided what foods they would eat.

CU Easter Competition

Austins Butterfly

Last week we learnt the importance of self critique and had a go ourselves to draw a butterfly. The children used I notice, praise and wonder to critique their butterflies and the end results were amazing! We then used our final draft for our Mothers Day Cards.

Shoutout to Marcus who did his first session at school today! I was so proud of how well you settled and adapted to the changes, we look forward to having you back tomorrow.

Elliot was such a kind and caring member of our crew today who kept checking in to make sure our new crew member was ok. Elliot made Marcus feel very welcome and shared the blocks to help him build a tower.
