Using the make ten method can you solve these problems. 

Miss Lotysz went to the shop. She bought 8 loaves of bread and 7 packs of ham to make sandwiches for her party. How many items did she buy altogether? 15

The shopkeeper bought 5 bouncy balls and 9 kites to sell in his shop. How many items did he buy altogether? 14

Miss Topliss went to the circus she saw 4 singing mermaids and 8 acrobats perform. How many did she see altogether? 12

Miss Lister went to the seaside she bought 9 buckets and and 7 spades. How many items did she buy altogether? 16

There were  5 butterflies and 7 bees in the garden. Three more ladybirds joined them. 

How many minibeasts were in the garden altogether? 15
