These superstars have blown me away this morning. They have smashed their editing stations and really have produced some high-quality writing. The children had to write their examples under the feature headings around the room to help them identify which features they had used and which ones they had missed whilst also looking at models of those features. This then helped 6B identify the features in their writing and accurately mark their success criteria. I have never see so many- purposeful- relative clauses, subordinating and coordinating conjunctions and examples of parentheses! The editing stations have really allowed the children to reflect about their writing and how they can advance the action by up-levelling their writing and using Year 5/6 features to achieve this.
A great example of using craftsmanship and quality in their writing! I am so proud!
