Year 2 had a visit from Geoff, from the XP Communications team. He brought in his drone and demonstrated how the drone was flown and how it worked. This was a hook for our Geography learning, which begins with understanding what a bird’s-eye view is and how it is used for maps. Geoff got some footage and shared how far we could see from the drone up in the sky.
