During Hook Week, 2P carried out different challenges that compared Doncaster with Mexico. We started with a music battle where we compared artists from Doncaster with Mexican artists. We then carried out a food challenge where we sampled different typical foods from each country. There were some interesting flavours, but liquorice, celery and chillis definitely received interesting reactions! Our final battle was with language, where we looked at how we can use some English words to work out the meaning of Spanish words and then we learnt some basic Spanish greetings.
Our final activity was to produce a piece of pointillism artwork, with a Mexican theme, inspired by the story and work of Frieda Kahlo. Great work 2P!
