Flower Mediums

This afternoon we explored using different mediums to do some flower art work, as practice for our final product this week. We used colouring pencils, water colours, ready mix paint, felt tips. #LovePlover

Year 5 litter picking- tomorrow afternoon

Just a reminder that Year 5 children will be engaging in acts of service tomorrow in our community and they will be joining local council workers to litter pick around Intake. This it to promote the importance of looking after our community.

Children will need a coat. If you haven’t given your permission slip to your class teacher already, please ensure you do tomorrow.

Disneyland Paris 2025 parent drop in- Monday 24th February 3-4pm

I am offering a drop in session for parents to pop to see me if they have specific questions regarding the Disneyland Paris trip. A formal meeting will take place once the exact timings have been confirmed with the company for each day/activity. This will not be provided to us as a school until the summer. However, we do have a rough itinerary.

The trip will take place on Monday 10th November and children will return home on the evening of the 13th of November. The trip will include a full day in Disneyland Paris, a day in Paris and the two travel days will consist of team blinding activities at the centre such as rock climbing, the big swing etc.

Rooms and groups will be decided in the autumn as we appreciate it is still a while away and friendships change.

Please note you are welcome to email any questions you have or pop to see me in 6B. I just wanted to offer a date where parents could come face to face to ask anything they need.

2P have been learning about how to keep safe online. This year we have particularly focussed on how to avoid being scammed by people who might want to trick us and steal our personal data. We explored how we would feel and how we can seek help from a trusted adult.

Great Maths Learning

Well done to Year 2 who have been learning about equal and unequal groups and how this links to repeated addition. We have then begun to learn how the multiplication symbol can be used to represent this. We are doing great work and becoming more expert in our Maths skills.
