We are motivated!

Our crew challenge this week was to solve matchstick problems. I think it’s fair to say that Crew Haycock found this more challenging than some of the other tasks they have been set! The frustration that they displayed when I showed them how simple it was really was amusing to see from my point of view. However, I don’t think they appreciated how easily I solved them! Sorry guys, I pledge to be more supportive and less competitive in the future.

Keep grappling with our motivational challenges everyone!

Motivational crew 💙

This week in Crew, we worked together in mini crews to solve some tricky matchstick puzzles. From this we learnt the importance of taking part, having a resilient attitude, thinking outside of the box and listening to others ideas respectfully. Well done crew!

We are Crew!

Crew challenge- build the tallest structure using only your shoes. We had to communicate with eachother, have a go and learn from our mistakes. The boys had a slow start but a big tall finish!

Beautiful Work

We Care Crew – discussing how we respect LGTB community and made a supportive poster! Beautiful home learning from Sreelakshmi, Siyar, Elisa, Kaya, Esme and Lacey. Well done to all superstars working hard in reading and PE! #LovePlover

Crew Blackham are excited to enter the Danum read aloud competition!

In our time to read crew this week, we launched a very exciting competition. The children had to select one of nine story openers to read out loud in preparation of the Danny read aloud competition! A selection of finalists will have the opportunity to read their opener at Danum library in the final.- how exciting!

‘Motivate Me’ Crew Challenges

In our crews, we have had to think really carefully about how we can achieve a team aim. It was much harder than we first thought it would be to lower the counting stick to the ground without anyone’s fingers becoming detached from the stick. It was amazing how much better we did when we actually communicated with each other!

Well done teams.
