All children need a swimming costume and towel for tomorrow. The children will be back in time for their school dinner. You must have signed the waiver which was emailed to you. If this is not completed, your child will not be allowed into the water tomorrow at the water park. Please ensure the trip has been paid for using the ParentPay link, if this trip is not paid for, it may not go ahead.
We have joined the heart scheme. We wanted to create some hearts to donate to Doncaster Royal Infirmary to give to patients and their loved ones. They needed 100 hearts so we pledged to make them as a whole school crew! Here are some of our lovely Year 6’s first drafts! We are going to critique them this afternoon ready to finish off and donate early next week!

Hi Plover Crew
Just a reminder Y1,2,3,5,6 children to come in old PE kit/ old light clothes tomorrow and bring £2.50 fundraising money.
Unfortunately, parents/careers can’t take part in this years colour run event!
Children will be dismissed at 3.15pm from the school field… parents/carers could therefore catch the end whilst waiting on Coniston Road for school gates to open at 3.10pm.

6T have been practising their sewing skills today ready to take part in a special challenge tomorrow morning. They all tried so hard and I was so proud of them all. What a lovely first day back, thank you all so much! 🙂 #LovePlover
6B are working hard and showing great resilience this morning! We have a special crew challenge we are participating in so we have had to master threading a needle, double threading our string and the running stitch. It was harder than they first thought but they are smashing it!

We started our first crew session of the year by talking about reading and just how important it is. The children have all chosen their first book of the year and we have made pledges to make sure we read for pleasure every day and we are going to smash our accelerated reader targets! We are starting our morning by reading outside with our friends 💙
