Crew games

Year 5 and 6 had a great morning taking part in crew games, they all worked hard to encourage each other to persevere and carry on.

We are artists!

We have kick started hook week in Year 6 and began working as artists. The children have started their first drafts today of their final product- a mural of Ben Parkinson. The children will be developing their art skills over the course of this week, using various techniques and being inspired by experts and artists.

Keep an eye on our blogs to see what we get up to!

Year 5&6 dance off champion!

Year 5 & 6 had a Christmas dance off this morning as we rehearsed for carols around the tree. Our lovely Mia was crowned the champion! Here she is showing her prize!

Y6 candy cane olympics

Yesterday, Y6 had lots of fun at our candy cane olympics. They had to build towers out of marshmallows only using the candy canes- not their hands. They had to demonstrate team-building skills to be successful and they had so much fun!

Y6 have been spreading Christmas cheer in the local community

Our lovely Year 6’s spread Christmas cheer yesterday at a local care home. With thanks to Charlotte’s florist, they helped the residents create Christmas flower pots. We are so proud of our year 6’s showing activism in our community and spreading kindness at a time that can be difficult for many. Superstars

Yellow crew disco!

Yesterday, yellow crews enjoyed a belated reward for their efforts during the summer term (you may recall we postponed it due to bad weather), in the form of a disco! The children had a great time and should be proud of how hard they worked at their HoWLs during the summer term to earn this reward.

It was also lovely to note that all three crews received an award for coming top of crew coins for the terms of last year. ā˜ŗļø
