Enjoying a book together 💙
Year 5&6 are on a mission to enjoy a range of books this year! We have launched our phase book reviews this week so the children are excited to share a crew book of their choice each afternoon so they can contribute to the book reviews. They want to encourage other children in school to read their favourite books!

To celebrate Crew Myers winning the best attendance in the WHOLE SCHOOL, they are able to come to school in non-uniform on Friday 3rd November.

There are prizes to be won and an exciting author visit on Monday for Year 5&6!
MG Leonard will be virtually visiting Year 5/6 children next week based on our upcoming Expedition anchor text- ‘twitch’. I am so excited to be able to gift two copies of the book we will be reading to a Year 5 and a Year 6 child. We have decided to gift these to the children who have produced home learning this term. All children who have engaged in home learning will have their names out into a hat and with a week still to go there are plenty of chances to bring in some home learning!

Just a reminder of our UKS2 family learning event. We hope to see you there! We will be collaborating to design and see a range of rainforest cuddly toys to donate to our local children’s hospice for Christmas.It would mean so much to sew as many parents as possible join our event. We will also be holding a ‘guess the teddy’s name’ event to raise funds for our leavers hoodies.
