Kamari and Elisa worked beautifully together to build a tall tower… when they counted it was 22 blocks tall!
Lily worked hard on sorting her shapes and objects. #LovePlover

Hi KS1 Crew
With this lovely but hot weather in place for the rest of the week 🌞
Can all children have suncream applied before school, waterbottles, sun hats and sun glasses too please.
Thanks
KS1 Crew
Shout outs in 1M to Kamari, Sreelakshmi, Lacey-Mae and Elliot who have all worked hard on their handwriting and maths today!
Then for a hook week activity we made two superhero collages with tissue paper – Fire Girl and Water Boy! After we flicked paint to create our Fire of London back drop.
In Crew children had to work together to line up from tallest to smallest.

Today, the children started immersing themselves in the new expedition. As part of hook week, we worked with watercolours and poster paint to create a Great Fire of London-themed piece of class art work.
First, we discovered how to use watercolour brushes and choose the right colours for our painting. We then worked in teams to paint the different houses and flames using watercolours.
After this, we used poster paint and a splatter art technique to create a sky background filled with burning embers.
Once this was dry, we mounted the houses and flames to create an excellent piece of art!
Well done to all the 1M children who took part in today’s sports day! Thank you parents/carers for your continued support. Fantastic way to end with a teacher, grown ups and then toddler race!🏆🏅 #LovePlover
As part of TGB Thursday Crew we will be learning BSL … today we learnt about signing our greetings, feelings and emotions!

1M have been busy today and have worked hard making saltdough birds, acorn bird feeders, bird hats/masks and painted different birdies! They then enjoyed some time on the ipads playing on the educational games. #LovePlover
Our mini guiding question this week is… how will what I do impact others?
We have raised money for a Xmas surprise and enjoyed our Colour Fun Run! We’ve learnt about the importance of birds and how we can help protect them by making bird feeders for our community.
Thanks,
Mr Meade, Miss Ketteringham, Mrs Ibbertson, Mr Longley
