In our expedition lessons we’ve been learning about the Great Fire of London. Today we learnt how to use evidence to expansion what happened and then the children completed a quiz about what they had found out. Here are 1/2K’s quiz champions!

Kobin and Elizabeth were amazing at handwriting this morning. They were so neat! Well done Kobin and Elizabeth.

1/2K have been learning all about finding one more this afternoon. They were faaaaaantastic mathematicians!

These children were very proud of their home learning. They could tell us about how they made their work and what it meant.

The adults first pretended to be Vlad the flea. Our children thought of some amazing questions to ask Vlad!
They asked what he ate and if he was burned. The children wanted to know where he lived and who was his best friend!

The children then transformed into Vlad. They used their inference skills to answer questions about Vlad’s life.

Year 1 had a productive afternoon in RE. We looked at different parables from the Bible and focused in particular on the story of ‘The Good Samaritan’. The children were then able to order the picture cards to put the story into the correct order. Well done Year 1!

Year 1 practiced their ball skills this afternoon, focussing on how to stop the ball with their feet. They then had a good go at passing to a partner and were even able to weave in and out of the cones at the end!
