KS2 children are invited to take part in the Danum Read Aloud! The children have the chance to take part in a school competition, where they will perform one of a series of speeches provided by their class teacher. There is a round for each KS2 year group (3, 4, 5 and 6) before a school final on 24th February. One lucky school winner will then be invited to perform their speech one more time at the Danum Read Aloud at Danum Gallery, Library and Museum on 30th March for the chance to win £50! I promised 6B as soon as they achieved above 85% as a class pass rate on accelerated reader, they could spend an accelerated reader session reading to the guinea pigs! That is exactly what they did!
