This week your child has brought home three conkers, to count for you at home. Please count aloud with your child daily, up to 5.
Well done to Shay and Ivy for being awarded the Pride of Plover yellow T-shirt this week!
Keep working hard, getting Smart and being Kind.
We have our role play set up in the classroom, as the house of The Three Bears.
We are pretending to be a character in the story. Please talk about the story and the characters in the story, at home.
We are learning about the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. Here is our story map.
You can watch a version of the story at home.
EYFS had a very exciting morning today as we had our first expert of the expedition come to visit us. Phil Sheppard came and read us some different stories all about bears. He then shared with us a beautiful story that he has written and illustrated himself, about a Bear and the change of seasons. The children were very intrigued by Phil’s story and asked some fantastic questions.

Every week, children are awarded the Yellow T-shirt for working hard, getting smart and being kind. Well done to Scarlett and Vinnie!
They wear the yellow T – shirt for one week in school, so everyone knows how hard they are trying.
Well done to Georgia for receiving a Plover Postcard!
This week we used our wellies and water proofs, to learn outside, in the autumn rain and wind.
Please send in waterproofs and wellies, if you haven’t done so already. Outdoor learning is a very important part of our curriculum.
Please also allow your child to practise putting on their own shoes at home.
Well done this week to Foundation 1, for our first time attending our soft play session. The children enjoyed the freedom of using the special equipment in the hall

Our children made a wonderful card for the Queen, which Miss Blackham has taken to London.
It had a collage crown on the front and every child’s hand print in the center in red, white and blue.
