Just a polite reminder that Wednesday 30th August is Year 4’s first school trip to Austerfield. Children will need to bring a packed lunch and come in normal school uniform with appropriate outdoor footwear. Please remember a coat too with the weather being so unpredictable at the moment! Children will be completing a variety of fun, team building activities for our crew week. Drop off and pick up times will be as normal. Please could letters be returned on the first day back (Tuesday 29th August) if they haven’t been already. We will ensure spares are ready Tuesday morning for any of you may require another.
Because our school visit is on Wednesday, the Year 4 pupils will be doing their colour fun run paint event on Thursday afternoon instead. In mind of this, children in Year 4 can come to school on Thursday in (old) white t-shirts or light coloured clothing that they do not mind getting covered in powder paint. It costs £2.50 to take part and money raised goes towards a special Christmas treat for them AND the top fundraiser in each phase will also win a cute prize!
