Our first day back after the spring holidays, we were greeted by disaster!
Plover School had been struck by a hurricane, earthquake and a volcanic eruption. Our classrooms were turned upside down and it was crucial that we learnt the skills to survive, in case it happened again!
We took part in different activities to prepare us if the worst was to happen: nightlife; floor is lava; den building; water transporting by pipes and containers and earthquake proof building making.
It was a great day and great communication and teamwork skills were evident in every crew.
