Today, we deepened our knowledge about hedgehogs. We learnt that hedgehogs are nocturnal meaning they are only awake and move around at night time in the dark. Other vocabulary we used included camouflage and predators. I wonder if the children can explain what the hedgehogs have to protect themselves? We then used our D&T skills to create clay hedgehogs.
