WHAT A COOL, BRIGHT and HAPPY GLOW DAY!
Crew Meade selfie and KS1 crew looking colourful!
We’ve done chalk writing, read GLOW, Fred was even glowing in phonics, highlighter handwriting, wrote/drew our glow stars, had a chippy dinner, finished with a glow party disco and games! #LovePlover
A glow day selfie from Crew Ketteringham!
We loved seeing you all in your bright colours and glow sticks. We hope you had an amazing day!
1M used their feet only today to focus on control and different dribbling skills! #LovePlover
Crew Meade spoke in We Care Wednesday, about how acts of kindness towards others is such a lovely gesture and can make others feel appreciated! The children then made their own kindness coupons for friends or family. #LovePlover
1M finished their Place Value within 10 maths unit by identifying and writing numbers on a number line.
This afternoon we were talking about racism, as part of our Rosa Parks case study. We discussed that everyone has similarities and differences – but we are all beautiful humans!
We recognised that racism is being unkind to people because of their skin colour, accent, religion – which is not okay!
Then we looked at some different case studies and talked about if they had thought it was racist or not.
Today the children learnt the middle part of our text. To do this we had actions to support us. We then wrote the sentences in our book.
This afternoon 1/2K were talking about racism, as part of our Rosa Parks topic. We discussed that everyone has similarities and differences
The children said that they didn’t think it was fair that Rosa was treated that way. We then looked at some different case studies and talked about if they had thought it was racist or not.
