As part of our poetry work this week around the poem ‘Born Deaf’ by R.Hereford we took part in a listening walk to really focus on what it is like to be able to hear. We heard all sorts of noises around school; from tiny noises like our shuffling feet on the carpet, to humongous sounds such as the tables in the dinner hall being set up!
Our favourite part though was making our listening ears, which helped us with our listening skills all day!
