Year 4 have had a brilliant time at the Halloween disco. They played lots of games, ate party food and did plenty of dancing. I was really impressed with their fabulous costumes and sensible behaviour throughout.

There has been some excellent Home Learning in 3LS this half term and it has been wonderful to see how much children are engaged in their learning. A big well done to Darwin who has created not one, but two marvellous pieces of Home Learning! A fantastic painting of a longship and a model Viking home.

I just wanted to give a shout out to the children in KS2 and staff (Mrs Thomson and Miss Kier), who have been staying after school to do reading club.
It has really been picking up and thanks to parents for supporting the children to attend the club.

Another shout out goes to Paul and Shayen, as they have been so busy at home again completing great home-learning.
Paul researched Viking houses and created his own high status house complete with vegetable patch.
Shayen researched Viking facts and translated them into Viking runes – very creative!
Well done both of you, you have both made so much effort, you should be very proud of yourselves!
